Common questions

Do I need an account? No. Tap Continue as guest during onboarding and the whole app is yours. An account only exists so your history survives a new phone.

Why does grumzi never show numbers? That is the point. grumzi reflects the balance between what you ate and how you moved through the hamster himself — no budgets, no percentages, no lectures.

My food came out wrong. Tap the entry to edit it, or use quick-log instead — four taps, always free and never blocked.

Apple Health is not showing up.grumzi reads steps, workouts and active energy, and never writes anything back. If you declined the prompt, allow it again in Settings → Privacy & Security → Health → grumzi. The app works fine without it.

How do I cancel a subscription? Subscriptions are billed by Apple, so they are cancelled on your device: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → grumzi → Cancel. It stays active until the end of the paid period. We cannot cancel or refund on your behalf — refunds go through reportaproblem.apple.com.

How do I delete my account and data?In the app: Me → Settings → Account → Delete account & data. It asks you to type a confirmation, then erases your profile, history and login for good.

Is my health data safe? Steps, workouts and active energy stay on your phone. Read the Privacy Policy for exactly what leaves the device and what never does.
