Grumzi Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and Lazar Spasic ("we", "us") for the use of the Grumzi mobile app. By using Grumzi you accept them. Contact: lazarspasic96@gmail.com.

1. What Grumzi is — and is not

Grumzi is a wellness companion: you log food and movement, and a mascot reflects your day back to you. It is designed for general wellness and habit building.

Grumzi is not a medical device and does not provide medical, nutritional, or health advice. See the Health Disclaimer, which is part of these terms.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 13 years old to use Grumzi. You can use the app in guest mode without an account; creating an account (email or Sign in with Apple) lets you restore your profile and progress on another device. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. You can delete your account at any time in Settings → Delete account; deletion is permanent.

3. AI-generated content

Grumzi's logging features use AI models to interpret the food and exercise descriptions or photos you submit. AI output is an estimate and can be wrong or incomplete. Grumzi presents playful equivalents and severity tags, not measurements you should rely on for health, medical, or dietary decisions.

4. Subscriptions and free tier

• The free tier includes a limited number of AI-powered logs per day; quick logging is always available without limit.
• Grumzi Premium is an auto-renewing subscription purchased through your Apple ID. Current prices, periods, and any free-trial terms are shown in the app before you buy.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel in your Apple ID subscription settings; deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
• If a free trial is offered, any unused portion is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
• Refunds are handled by Apple under their terms.
• We may change prices or features prospectively; changes never apply retroactively to a period you have already paid for.

5. Acceptable use

Don't misuse the app: no reverse engineering, no automated abuse of the AI features, no attempts to access other users' data, and no use that violates applicable law or Apple's terms.

6. Intellectual property

Grumzi — including the mascot, artwork, animations, and software — is our property or licensed to us. We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the app on Apple-branded devices you own or control, as permitted by the App Store terms. You keep whatever rights you hold in content you submit (like meal photos); you grant us the limited license needed to process it to provide the feature you invoked — we do not store it.

7. Availability and changes

We may update, change, or discontinue features (including AI providers and models) at any time. We aim to keep Grumzi available but do not guarantee uninterrupted service.

8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or loss of data, arising from your use of the app; our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, and nothing affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

9. Termination

You can stop using Grumzi at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms. Sections that by their nature should survive (IP, disclaimers, liability limits) survive termination.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of [jurisdiction — to be set before publication], without affecting mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence.

11. Changes to these terms

If we make material changes, we will update this page and note it in the app. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept them.
